Union Public Service Commission has published the Scheme of Examination for the Posts of Central Armed Police Force (Assistant Commandant) in BSF/CRPF/CISF recently. - General Science - General Awareness, Scientific Temper, comprehension & appreciation of Scientific phenomenon in everyday observation including new areas of importance like Information Technology, Biotechnology, Environmental Science.
- Current Events of National & International Importance - Currents events of National & International importance in the broad areas of culture, music, art, literature, sports, governance, societal & development issue, industry, business, globalization & interplay among nations.
- Indian Polity & Economy - Knowledge of Country Political system& the constitution of India, Social System & public administration, economy development in India, regional & international security issues & human rights including the indicator.
- History of India - Social, Economic & political aspects, Area of growth of nationalism & freedom movement.
- Indian & World Geography - Physical, Social & Economic aspects of geography pertaining to India & the World.
Paper-II : General Studies, Essay & Comprehension - 200 Marks- In this paper candidate will be allowed the option of writing the Essay Components in English & Hindi, but the medium of Precis Writing, Comprehension components & other communication/language skills will be English only.
Cut Off Marks : There will be minimum qualification marks separated in each paper as may be fixed by the commission in their discretion. Paper-I will be evaluated first & evaluation of paper-II will be done only of those candidates who obtained the minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I.  |
